Wow - those were the days, eh?

Actually when I *first* moved to SF in '96, I lived over on Virginia St. for $289! Except I was sharing w/ 3 other people, 1 bathroom and my bedroom was the size of a closet. Your place was much nicer for that price I'm sure. Shit, your entire rent was cheaper than what I pay now for my teeeny little 1 bedroom! aaah, the price we pay to live in SF.

Nice! Former Franconia street Bernal Heights resident. In 1989, that four bedroom, two car garage house on a hill, where on a clear day you could see the planes landing at Oakland airport... $1150 a month. Ahhhh! Kill me. Each of our rents were $287.50 a month. Can you even imagine?

looks like neighborhoodies site might be down at the time of posting this.

also, just in case any of you were wondering, mine is the "femme" in large... it usually looks a tad more fitted than what it may appear in this photo - because I wear it all the time (!) so it's a little stretched out and needs a wash to tighten it back up.
