I love 30 Days. The prision one and the pro-choice one were both great. The silly thing about the maternity house where Jennifer stayed (and I'm so glad she brought this up) is that they were advocating anti-abortion, rather than teaching parenting skills, or getting the women ready for their deliveries.

And I agree...we do need to keep abortions safe and legal!

I'm a fan of Spurlock and 30 Days. Great ep. It says a lot when the home for mothers - which was a wonderful alternative, btw - doesn't require the mothers to watch videos about childbirth or teach them how to be a mother in the first place. It was also wonderful that Jennifer brought up the fact that all children won't magically be adopted, just because they are born. See, I'm getting riled up all over again!

Did you catch the ep about illegal immigrants awhile back? That was some powerful stuff.

I'll vote no on it, but I wish that someone remotely competent had designed the website, because the front page of that site is terrible. The front page should answer two questions:

1) What does the proposition do?
2) Why should I vote no?

It does neither. If liberal interest groups want to make a difference in this world, they really need to...um...tell us why we should vote the way they want us to vote. Even clicking on their "the facts" link is confusing. Blegh.

(I'm bitter because I worked for the Dean campaign in 2003, and we raged about this stuff all the time, and the normal politicos wouldn't listen, and we lost, and...ok, I'll stop)

Willo, why can't everyone design clear, simple sites like you do? Why, oh why? It's not that conceptually hard, but nobody seems to get it. If all of our websites are like this, we'll keep losing, and I don't want to live in that world.
