Scoutmob San Francisco: Creative Eye Interview

Okay, seriously, if you haven’t heard of Scoutmob, you need to get on it. They’ve got awesome deals for local businesses. Sounds like some other sites, you say? Well, here’s the clincher: the deals are mobile-based and they are there when you want them. Meaning, you don’t have to pre-pay for them! Big difference. Plus, the deals are for places locals (ahem… ME) actually want to go. Score!

So, a few weeks back, when I got an email asking if I’d be willing/interested in doing an interview for their Creative Eye section, I was like: Duh!

Not only did I feel totally honored to be asked, because I had just read their Creative Eye interview with Victoria Smith (a favorite local blog-goddess & new friend), but they have a ton of cool artist interviews up. Which only made me realize: there are so many awesome local creatives I haven’t met yet! I might have to go through them one by one and invite them over for pie.

Anyway, their interview questions for me are super fun (thanks, Bre!), and, if you’ve been wondering what I’ve got cookin’ lately, I dish a little bit about what’s up my sleeve, too. That is, along with talking about some of my other favorite things, like bear hugs and music. ;)

No kidding though, if you have been anywhere near me in the last six months, you have heard me rave about Scoutmob. Not only do they offer kick ass local deals, but if you ask me they are *changing the game* with their brilliant design and super-fun (read: value-packed) newsletters. Seriously, I read every single one, knowing it’s going to be good… and have you seen my inbox? That statement speaks VOLUMES.

My favorite Scoutmob deal to date? Locavore: A new restaurant in Bernal Heights, close to my house, and a dream come true for a 90% vegan girl like me. Yum!
