lap kitty
I’m trying to make Kazoo a lap kitty. Believe it or not, he’s not much of one currently. He’s more of chest kitty (when I’m lying in bed or on the couch) or a shoulder kitty (probably his *favorite* place to be) Or, what he’s picked up in the last couple months, is his “sit directly in front of me all day, between me and the keyboard” kind of kitty. That’s pretty cute actually. I can tell he loves being close to me so much that sometimes I think he even dozes off sitting up. Or else he’ll put his head down so that my lips rest on his forehead and we stay that way for a couple minutes. Or he’ll just plop right down where he’s been sitting, usually on one of my arms which makes it really hard to type or use the mouse!
He’s tried to be a lap kitty a couple times, I think… but because his fur is so slippery soft and maybe my lap is too narrow (it’s really not actually, there is *plenty* of room on these thighs!), he’s always found it hard to keep his balance and therefore deems it uncomfortable.
So, I thought I’d start show him how nice and easy it is to sit on my lap afterall! And the other night it seemed to work for awhile. And the cutest thing was that he had to have – not just his paws on my arm – but 2 paws and a foot!! He’s a part of this whole computing thing, dangit. If I type, he’s helping! Isn’t that cute?

that seems like a cute cat and all, but wait until you come over to my place for the cd swap and see my cat mouse – prepare to leave knowing that i have the single cutest cat in the whole world. many a cat owner have left my house heartbroken.
Oh I have no problems falling in love with other kitties :) Kazoo & I kinda have an open relationship like that… I can love other kitties and even have major snuggle and smooch sessions with other fuzzy lovers, but my kazoobie knows he’s the one that gets to sleep with me everynight… so it’s all good :) Bring on the cutest kitties!! I have got enough love to go around fo sho’!
