did you see me on TV?

Alright, remember how I was telling you about that camera crew that made their way into my little home about 2 months back?

Well, I’ll tell you a little bit more, since it’s starting to air here & there… I’m on TV!

It’s actually a news story, so if you watch the news and you’ve got some kind of show like “Kurt the CyberGuy” or something, you might just see this 2 minute piece.

They profiled me, my illustration business and my blog, asking me how blogging has helped me personally and professionally. I saw it last week and even though it’s weird to see yourself on TV, it all came together pretty good. There’s more on there, so you’ll just have to wait to catch it for the full scoop!

Pam from LA wrote me & said she saw it, which was cool (thanks Pam!) and my Mom hilariously had a friend call her at like 6:30 in the morning yelling “your daughter’s on tv!” and my poor Mom still half asleep fumbled frantically with the remote to get the TV on, but ended up missing it. haha so cute (Mom, I promise I’ll get you a copy as soon as I can :) My Mom’s so supportive, I love it!

So anyway, I think it probably won’t be played very much over the next month or so, so you actually might not see it till like August or something, but when you do please let me know! :)

Interestingly enough there was more on the feed I saw – but I’m sure each station can play however much of it they want. Oh my!

OH MY GOD!!!!!!! That was so cool. I think you turned out great, and it was really cool putting voice behind all the posts!

  6. I can’t believe you didn’t mention me.

Or donuts – you didn’t mention donuts once!

Nice work there, kiddo. You looked great, if just a little staid. Not your usual effusive self. Your personality really comes through even in your blog. I’m surprised it didn’t come through in the interview.

But shoot, you still looked fantastic. Way to go.

Oh yeah, and happy birthday. One more year and you’ll be thirty….over the hill.

I don’t know if I ever responded to your last email or not. Been busy. Thanks for the heads up on the gig at evolution.

    Peas.

Ya, I agree Brian…. at times during the interview I definitely wasn’t my effusive self. I remember wishing I was talking to someone more “in the know” about blogs or that I just knew a little better and could be more of myself around – instead it was a little weird with strange news people, lights and cameras.. :) but oh well! I figured it was probably good I wasn’t all super hyper or people might think I’m crazy. haha Well, I am a little – but it might be good to look a little more “normal” on national TV.

Hey Look – I just found another news story on it:
