independent film

These movies look good:

I also want to see The Woodsman, A Very Long Engagement and What the Bleep Do We Know? All of these movies are playing at Landmark Theatres in San Francisco.

Anyone see any of them yet?

:::

As for bigger boxoffice movies – I still haven’t seen (but want to!):

  • Lemony Snicket’s A Series of Unfortunate Events
  • The Polar Express: IMAX 3D Experience
  • The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou
  • In Good Company (might be a rental)
  • Closer – which I’m seeing tomorrow night at The Parkway in Oakland with Lucia! And then racing back here to hit Kings of Leon (ticket pending :)

    Natalie Portman is doing some good work! I liked the movie Garden State and I liked her in Closer. Of the nominated Best Pictures, I recently seen Million Dollar Baby and have yet to see the other nominees.
    Who’s got the odds on Best… hmmmm

    The Parkway rocks. And it’s near the crib. I’ve had a few Parkway-Baggy’s-stumble home nights.

    if you dont end up getting tickets, come to KIMOS to see Astral and The Girlfriend Experience!
    as a side note, this weekend may be the last for Kimos and any live music. Gotta get out and support our local music scene (which I know Willo does wholeheartedly).
