I have been a busy little bee and it’s caught up to me today. zzzzz
photos coming soon, but for now here’s an interesting list of facts about coffee. I make myself a double shot soy latte every morning & I think I’ve always thought espresso had more caffeine in it than normal coffee… but it doesn’t! weird!

yeah, that’s weird right? people are always like “oooh, i can’t believe you drink so many espresso drinks” but it’s actually drip coffee that gets me all cracked out and hyper and jittery. espresso drinks give you a nice even buzz for a longer time period – like time released or something. haha – i just realized how that sounded”nice even buzz for longer”. heh.
A coffee barrista dude explained this to me once. The darker the roast of the coffee bean, the less caffeine it has. The longer the bean roasts, the more caffeine gets burned out of it. So espresso and lattes are usually the darkest roast, has the strongest flavor, and has the least caffeine except for decaf. If you go to a Starbucks in the AM you’ll get more caffeine by ordering the Morning Lite Note or whatever they call it than if you order espresso.
