Care Instructions

COTTON APPAREL
Machine wash cold. Dry Low. No Bleach. Do not Dry Clean.
Note: Cotton can be washed warm or hot, but a cold wash is more environmentally sound.

EMBROIDERED ITEMS
The care label instructions pertain to the garment, not the embroidery. Special care should be taken when laundering embroidered garments.

Washing: All embroidered items should be laundered in cold water with neutral or mild laundering detergent. Strong detergents, which contain optical brighteners or bleaching agents such as chlorine, peroxide or sodium carbonate can cause discoloration. Likewise, stain removers may damage the color and consistency of the embroidery thread especially when scrubbed by hand or with a brush.

Do not pack embroidered garments tightly in washing machines, leave them soaking in water, or in piles of wet clothing. We do not recommend wringing embroidered goods.

Ironing: Use low temperature setting when ironing. Cover the embroidered item with a towel and iron it lightly from the back side.

Embroidery Backing: Our embroidered items are backed with a tear-away backing that is generally meant to be easily removed, but be careful to do so without stretching the fabric. You may leave the backing on, but should you want to tear it off, it may be easier to do so when the backing is wet. The backing may naturally soften and tear away with repeated laundering, this is completely normal and does not signify a defect in the garment. *Please note: We are not responsible for any damage done to the garment should you attempt to remove the backing.
