Our Front Garden

I had started working on the front yard last fall (2002) and got really into it. Cleaned it up a ton & trimmed back all the ivy, bought bulbs and fertilizer & was all ready to become a "gardener". But, then I somehow got busy (or lazy) and weekends went by & my bulbs went unplanted.

Rain + Time = Weeds

Then the rains came & all of a sudden our dead front garden, became overgrown with weeds & grass!

Months Later...

Well, Matt picked the project up last week & got gung-ho on the front yard. What a good honey!!

He tore out all the grass and weeds & with his new blank slate he went to the store (Floorcraft) for more flowers. Seein as how most of the little flats I had bought hadn't fared to well not being planted for this many months.

Now: Sunday 4/6/03

Matt & I put the finishing touches on it - and we're so psyched!! It is so exciting to have a front garden we're really proud of. So, I'm showing it off.

Take a Look! >

The best is yet to come

The good news will be if & when some of the old plants & bulbs we planted this weekend, actually grow! Cross your fingers! :)
